This Privacy Policy explains how Cited Labs ("Cited Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit citedlabs.com (the "Site") or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit our audit request form or email us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, website URL, and any message. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry and provide our services.

Usage and analytics data

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the Site, for example, pages viewed and general location and device type. Analytics are disabled by default: no analytics cookies are set until you choose "Accept" on our consent banner (we use Google Consent Mode v2). If you decline, no analytics data is collected. Your choice is stored locally in your browser.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically process technical data such as IP address and request headers to deliver and secure the Site.

How we use information

• To respond to inquiries and provide, operate, and improve our services.
• To understand and improve how the Site performs (only with analytics consent).
• To protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Service providers we use

We share information only with providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery, and security.
• Web3Forms: processing form submissions and delivering them to us by email.
• ForwardEmail: routing email sent to our address to our inbox.
• Google (Analytics & Tag Manager): website analytics, only after you consent.

We do not sell your information

Cited Labs does not sell or rent your personal information, and does not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

Your choices and rights

You can decline analytics at any time via the consent banner or by clearing your browser storage. Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Data retention

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records, then delete or anonymize it. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
